Q. How do I become a Milford Firefighter? A. First you must be 19 years old and hold a valid NHs drives license and have a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Fill out an application and summit it to the Fire Chief. The hiring process involves a physical ability exam, oral board interviews, and a chiefs interview. Successful candidates are then required to pass motor vehicle and criminal record checks as well as a medical exam by the departments occupational health care provider.
