History of the Department


 

 

ENGINE 1: 1993 Pierce Saber,1500GPM Waterous pump,1000 gallon tank
ENGINE 2 : 2006 Pierce Enforcer, 1500 GPM Waterous pump 1000 gallon tank, Class  A and  B Husky 12 Foam system, Westerbeke diesel generator.
ENGINE 3 : 2006 Pierce Enforcer,1500 GPM Waterous pump, 1000 gallon tank, Class A and B Husky 12 Foam system, Westerbeke diesel generator.

ENGINE 4 : 1987 Pierce Dash 1250 GPM Waterous pump,1500 gallon tank. Used as supply truck outside of the hydrant district.

 LADDER 1 : 1991 Pierce Arrow 105 ft aerial, pre-piped waterway, carries Hurst “Jaws of Life” extrication tools.

RESCUE 1: 1988 GMC/E ONE Heavy Rescue, carries Amkus extrication tools, air bags cribbing. Outfitted for technical rescue emergencies.

FORESTRY 2 : 1999 Ford F350 w/ 250 gallon skid tank

UTILITY 1 : 1973 GMC 3/4 Ton Van

CAR 1 : 2002 Ford Expedition, assigned to the Chief of the Department, equipped with dual band radio equipment, incident management tools, BLS medical equipment, and computer.

CAR 2 : 1996 Ford Explorer assigned to Fire Prevention Bureau
